Accelerated Program:
Multi-Engine Add-on in Hillsboro, OR
Becoming multi-engine rated is one of the most common—and valuable—steps for pilots who want to expand their capabilities and strengthen their professional trajectory. A Multi-Engine Add-on (AMEL) allows you to operate twin-engine aircraft and builds the systems knowledge, performance planning skills, and decision-making required for higher-level flying.
At NW Wings, our Multi-Engine Add-on program is accelerated and built to be completed in 2–3 weeks. This course is built for pilots who are serious about training and able to commit fully for the duration.
The program strengthens your understanding of multi-engine aerodynamics, systems, and performance, while emphasizing the skills that matter most in real multi-engine operations—Vmc awareness, engine-out recognition and response, single-engine procedures, emergency operations, and scenario-based training. The result is a clear, efficient path to checkride readiness—and the confidence to operate a multi safely.
We offer both Private and Commercial Multi-Engine Add-ons, depending on your current certificate level and your goals.

Finish in as little as 1 week!
