We provide a wide range of services, including flight training, SIC and PIC on demand, ferry aircraft services, and daily Adventure Sights tours above the scenic city of Portland. Job Description:
​
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) with or without an Instrument Instructor (CFII) rating to join our team. The ideal candidate should be committed to high safety standards and professional development, as well as excited about the opportunity to help students achieve their aviation goals.
​
Responsibilities:
​

Provide flight instruction to students in a safe, professional, and effective manner.

Conduct ground training sessions, pre-flight and post-flight briefings.
-
Prepare students for practical and knowledge tests per FAA Part 61 requirements.

Maintain detailed student records and ensure compliance with FAA regulations.

Participate in NW Wings Aviation promotional events.

Stay current with FAA regulations, industry trends, and best practices in flight instruction.
Qualifications:

Legal authorization to work in the United States

FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate (required)

FAA Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) license (required)

Certified Flight Instructor - Instrument (CFII) rating (preferred but not required)

FAA Class 2 Medical Certificate or higher

Knowledge of Part 61 flight school regulations

Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills

Commitment to safety and professionalism

Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.

ResponsibilitiesFront Desk & Customer Service
• Greet guests and answer phone calls with professionalism and warmth.

Student Support & Orientation

Qualifications/Experience

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and general office software.
• Experience with scheduling, event coordination, or project management is highly desirable.

We are seeking experienced airline or corporate jet pilots who want to give back to the aviation community by mentoring the next generation of pilots. This is an opportunity to share your expertise, provide guidance, and help shape the professional and personal growth of our students and junior pilots.
While not a full time flying role, you will be involved with both in-flight training and ground training, and should be comfortable with operating and providing training or guidance in our aircraft.
This role is adaptable and we are open to hearing your ideas about how you can support the next generation of pilots with your expertise.

Job Offer: Kids Aviation Camp Instructor

Job Summary:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and responsible Kids Aviation Camp Instructor to assist with our youth aviation camp sessions. This is an opportunity to introduce kids to the world of aviation through hands-on activities, lessons, field trips, and fun camp experiences that spark curiosity and excitement about flying.
​
This is a seasonal role that is only active during the scheduled camp sessions. The instructor will be responsible for helping run the camp during camp hours, creating a safe and engaging environment, and helping campers learn about aviation in a way that is educational, interactive, and age-appropriate.
We are looking for someone who enjoys working with kids, brings positive energy, and preferably has aviation knowledge or a pilot certificate. Experience with children is strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and supervise daily aviation camp activities during scheduled camp sessions.

Teach kids about aviation through lessons, demonstrations, games, and hands-on activities.

Guide campers during field trips and other off-site camp activities.

We are seeking a creative and motivated Social Media/Videography Intern to assist with capturing and editing video content featuring our facilities, aircraft, and aviation experiences for use on our website and social media channels. This is an opportunity to help showcase NW Wings Aviation through engaging visual content that reflects the energy, professionalism, and excitement of flight training.

This role will support content creation efforts by helping shoot and edit videos that highlight our aircraft, instructors, students, campus environment, and aviation services. The ideal candidate is comfortable with videography, editing, and social media content, and has an eye for creating clean, compelling visuals. Also, being open to being on camera themselves for explainer style videos is a plus as well, but not necesarry!
